Rex Allen Days is a Willcox tradition

The annual Rex Allen Days takes place in Willcox, Arizona this year on October 5-7, 2012. Willcox has hosted the Rex Allen Days events and Rodeo for the past 61 years. The three-day event celebrates the life of Rex Allen and features many of his favorite events, including a professional rodeo, parade, and concerts. How to find Willcox on the map.

The first Rex Allen Days event, held in 1951, was planned as a benefit for the local hospital. Since then, other charitable organizations have benefited from the proceeds of the weekend.  The proceeds are also used to present scholarships to Willcox High School graduates.
