The Respiratory Therapist is qualified to assume primary responsibility for all respiratory care treatments, including the supervision of Respiratory Therapy Technicians. Under the supervision of a physician, the Respiratory Therapist may be required to exercise considerable independent clinical judgment in the care of respiratory patients.

Dental

The program gives you a complete education in the clinical, laboratory, and administrative duties of a Dental Assistant. You will learn about oral hygiene, the charting and instrumentation procedures involved with chair-side assisting to the Dentist, terminology, office procedures and office techniques, insurance forms, and laboratory procedures.

Massage Therapy

The Massage Therapist Diploma program combines a complete and comprehensive study of Swedish Massage with other manual and energetic therapies. Supporting courses include a thorough kinesthetic and tactile study of Human Anatomy and Physiology, Professional Ethics and Communication, and the Business of Massage.

Veterinary

The growing interest in animals is creating thousands of new jobs. Those with the best preparation and background get the best jobs. The objective of the Veterinary Assistant program is to develop student's skills to assist Veterinarians at an entry-level position to treat illness, ease discomfort, cure diseases, mend injuries, and improve nutrition.

Pharmacy

The Pharmacy Technician program at Apollo College provides the technical and practical training to allow you to work as an assistant to a licensed pharmacist in both retail and hospital settings. The program will provide you with extensive knowledge in pharmaceutical and medical terminology, abbreviations and symbols used in prescribing, dispensing and charting of medications and a working knowledge of drug trade and generic names as well as strengths, dosages, dosage forms and routes of administration.
