Strayer University announced today the election of Robert S. Silberman, Chairman and CEO of Strayer Education Inc., to serve as Chairman of the University's Board of Trustees.
The University's Board of Trustees oversees the academic policies and administration of the University to ensure the delivery of high-quality academics. Scott W. Steffey, former chairman of the Strayer University board of trustees, has resigned to pursue other interests.
The University also announced that Daniel R. Abassi, Associate Dean at the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, will join the Strayer University Board of Trustees.
