The Associate of Arts degree in Accounting is designed to provide graduates with the skills and knowledge required to work effectively in a variety of business settings. The curriculum provides a solid foundation in areas of the role of accounting in business strategy, financial statements, cost information, economics, management, and ethical issues.
 
Graduates from the AA in Accounting program will be able to communicate effectively, as directed, for informal, formal, and quantitative tasks and will be conversant with the values and terminology of the field.

They will be able to access information resources, evaluate them for credibility and relevance, and use the sources to present a wide range of alternatives. Having utilized academic processes such as feedback from faculty and self-reflection, graduates will be situated for lifelong learning. This degree prepares students to transition into the Bachelor of Science in Accounting program.

They will be able to access information resources, evaluate them for credibility and relevance, and use the sources to present a wide range of alternatives.

The Associate of Arts degree in Health Administration is designed to provide graduates with the skills and knowledge required to work effectively in health and human services settings. The curriculum provides a solid foundation in areas of health and human services organizations, roles of health and human services workers, public policy, information technology, financial management, and regulatory and ethical issues.
 
Graduates from the AA in Health Administration program will be able to communicate effectively, as directed, for informal, formal, and quantitative tasks and will be conversant with the values and terminology of the field. They will be able to access information resources, evaluate them for credibility and relevance, and use the sources to present a wide range of alternatives. The Associate of Arts degree in Information Technology is designed to provide graduates with the skills and knowledge required to work effectively in a variety of workplace settings. The curriculum provides a solid foundation in areas of programming practices, development cycle, project specifications, data storage, the role of technology applications in business strategy, and legal and ethical issues.
 
Graduates from the AA in Information Technology program will be able to communicate effectively, as directed, for informal, formal, and quantitative tasks and will be conversant with the values and terminology of the field. They will be able to access information resources, evaluate them for credibility and relevance, and use the sources to present a wide range of alternatives. Having utilized academic processes such as feedback from faculty and self-reflection, graduates will be situated for lifelong learning. This degree prepares students to transition into the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology program.

This program will provide the student foundational knowledge of the major facets of networking technologies. Available within this program are realistic simulations, plus remote access to real hardware and software commonly used in the IT industry. These exercises help the student learn key networking concepts. At the student's option, this program also provides the students a roadmap and online tools to aid them in gaining Microsoft® certifications. Total credits required for degree program completion: 60 credits.
 
The Visual Communications program provides an overview of visual design elements to be implemented within a business framework. Topics within this program include visual design elements such as composition and style, use of color, textures, integration and manipulation of graphics images, photographic re-touching and text/font design.
 
Fundamentals and basic web programming will also be covered. A graduate of this program will have design skills useful in business areas such as marketing, web design or training.
 
The Associate of Arts Degree in Paraprofessional Education provides students with the knowledge and the skills that will enable them to become effective paraprofessionals in an elementary school classroom or teachers in a Head Start or private program. It integrates theory with practice as it addresses major topics that impact teaching; i.e., historical and philosophical contexts for contemporary educational approaches and issues; the nature of child development; and the professional and classroom tasks encountered in teaching. In so doing, it builds a foundation for thoughtful instruction in the classroom.
 
The accounting major promotes identification with and orientation to the accounting profession, and is designed to provide the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for a successful accounting career. Core competencies in technology, critical thinking, and communication are emphasized throughout the curriculum. Technology, in particular, is embedded in all accounting courses. Students also have broad exposure to varied business disciplines including management, organizational behavior, economics, statistics and finance, and learn how the general manager integrates these disciplines to meet the strategic goals of the organization.
 
The Administration program is designed for the working adult employed in a business or public organization. The Major is designed to enable graduates to deal effectively with an increasingly complex business environment. The Major stresses skill development in the areas of financial accounting, managerial finance, quantitative analysis, economics, marketing, and business-based research.
