Please note that our Johnny Weissmuller Pool and our Spa will be out of service during the construction of the 271, 17 story Condo Tower, this will begin on January 1st, 2006. Also we will have limited parking available on site. *Although Johnnys Pool during construction will not be available, we have the Pacific Ocean just 15 minutes away with free shuttle service available. Free limited transporation to nearby airport, Seaworld, Mission Beach, Belmont Park and Balboa Park and Zoo. All unites are non-smoking. Come swim in Tarzan's pool. Betty Grable and Harry James slept here. Ava Gardener and Bob Hope have frequented the hotel. Hollywood's most glamorous stars came night after night to what was the hotel's fashionable Mississippi ballroom. Although the echoes of the big bands and stars have faded away the hotel's popularity and tradition of gracious hospitality continues today.
