Property Description
The Macdonald Thames Lodge is a rambling, mainly 19th century building with a modern extension sitting right on the banks of the River Thames. The hotel still has it's own moorings, a tradition dating back to the days when it was known as the Packhorse and used as a stopping shop for barges being hauled up the River by horse. Visitors enjoy the sights of the River from the hotel lounge and restaurant and those who have chosen a bedroom on the top floor have a view which makes it hard to believe that the hotel is only 19 miles from Central London.
