Located within walking distance of the city centre this established hotel offers 17 rooms of a three star standard, private parking, bar and conservatory bistro. The hotel bedrooms are traditional in decor some with sloping ceilings. Majority of rooms are shower only with two star facilities including complimentary tea tray and television. An extensive all day menu is served in the conservatory where weather permitting you can dine alfresco in the garden. All major sporting events are shown in the bar, which is frequented by locals and visitors alike.     By car from Edinburgh Airport: Follow the signs for the City Centre and continue until you reach the West End of Princes Street. Turn right up Lothian Road. Continue straight up Lothian Road through six sets of traffic lights. At the seventh set beside the Kings Theatre, turn right along Gilmore Place. Continue along into Polwarth Terrace for approximately half a mile and the hotel is on the left hand side.

We can also recommend Beluga Canteen and Restaurant on Chambers Street: As contemporary as the decor, Beluga's award-winning restaurant cuisine offers customers an altogether different dining experience by combining the best of Scotland's larder with a host of unusual flavours from around the globe.
