Property Description
The hotel is located one mile from the city centre and is on a main bus route. The hotel is located in a very quiet residential area and is ideal for a relaxing stay in Edinburgh. Originally an elegant Victorian mansion in the grand Scottish tradition, the Orwell Lodge has been tastefully renovated and extended in recent years to combine the charm of the old with a modern comfortable feel. The 10 ensuite bedrooms are decorated in a traditional fashion and located on the first and second floors accessible by stairs only. All rooms are equipped with tea/coffee tray, TV, hair dryer and telephone.

    By car from Edinburgh Airport: Follow the signs for the City Centre and continue until you reach the West End of Princes Street. Turn right up Lothian Road. Continue straight up Lothian Road through six sets of traffic lights. At the seventh set beside the Kings Theatre, turn right along Gilmore Place. Continue along into Polwarth Terrace for approximately half a mile and the hotel is on the left hand side.
