Property Description
Situated on the slopes of the Surrey hills, in a beautiful and tranquil Wealden setting, is the enchanting Lythe Hill Hotel and Spa. An unusual cluster of historic buildings set in 20 acres of parkland, with a Tudor house and carefully restored farm buildings, it has an atmosphere all its own. A mixture of old and new creates a village feel. The Auberge de France in the Tudor house, overlooking the lake and parkland, offers classic French cuisine in 14th century splendor. Awards from both the RAC and AA are indicative of the quality and high standards of service at this enchanting four star hotel. Private dining rooms are available for celebrations and parties. Two conference suites and a range of 8 boardrooms offer elegant facilities, with the latest technology and a range of sophisticated audiovisual equipment available. Within the grounds there are two lakes, a floodlit tennis court, helipad and croquet lawn. The grounds are ideal for corporate activities and team building events. The games room with pool table, billiards and table tennis provides evening entertainment and golf and riding can be arranged nearby. Lythe Hill is easily accessible from London, Heathrow and Gatwick, all within an hour by car or train. The spa, Amarna, offers unrivaled facilities in the area.     From Heathrow, take the M4 (westbound) and join the M25 (southbound / anticlockwise). Exit the M25 at junction 10 and take the A3 towards Guildford & Portsmouth. Leave the A3 at Milford (just after Guildford) and follow the signs for Haslemere on the A286. At Haslemere drive to the end of the High Street and turn left at the top, onto the B2131 Petworth Road. Continue for just over 1.5 miles (IGNORE signs for Lythe Hill Park) and you will see Lythe Hill on your right. From Gatwick, take the M23 (northbound) and join the M25 (westbound / clockwise). Exit the M25 at junction 10 and take the A3 towards Guildford & Portsmouth. Leave the A3 at Milford (just after Guildford) and follow the signs for Haslemere on the A286. At Haslemere drive to the end of the High Street and turn left at the top, onto the B2131 Petworth Road.
