Down Hall Country House Hotel is an historic victorian mansion set in over 120 acres of parklands, woodlands and landscaped gardens, yet only 30 minutes from central London. Down Hall with its 98 bedrooms and 26 meeting rooms strikes a delicate balance between the requirements of the business travel and those seeking a luxury break. Down Hall is steeped in history dating back to 1322 when it was part of the crown estates. In 1540 Down Hall was sold by Henry VIII and thereby began its historical journey through 900 years to the present day. In 1981 Down Hall was converted to a hotel and since then has undergone an extensive renovation that has seen the introduction of the amenities demanded by today's business traveler, whilst retaining it charm and historical elegance.
