The Sims 2 Now Available(September 28, 2004). Electronic Arts reports more than a million copies of The Sims 2 were sold within the first ten days of its release on Sep. 14. More than half of the sales came from Europe. This version has improved 3D graphics and other developments over the 2000 release. The virtual Sims have a more realistic appearance.
