"The Little Shop Of Horrors" (1960)

This is the original 1960's classic dark comedy of the Roger Corman classic about a nerdy flowershop clerk who grows a giant, man-eating plant and is forced to kill in order to feed it.

Jack Nicholson makes his film debut as a dental patient who loves pain. The film was shot in two days and is considered one of Corman's best pictures.

A stage music of "The Little Shop of Horrors" was filmed in 1986. Also shown in a comouter-colored version.

The 1986 version was directed by Frank Oz and starred Rick Moranis, Ellen Greene, Vincent Gardenia, Steve Martin, James Belushi, John Candy, Christopher Guest and Bill Murray.

A clumsy young man nurtures a plant and discovers that it's a bloodthirsty plant, forcing him to kill to feed it. Plot Synopsis: Seymour is a young man who works in a flower store. He manages to create a carnivorous plant that feeds on human flesh. Nobody knows about it, so Seymour and the plant become good "friends". The plant needs food to grow up, so it convinces him to start killing people.
