MESA ENCORE THEATRE PRESENTS "NOISES OFF"

Date:
Friday, May 31, 2013 - 7:00pm - Sunday, June 16, 2013 - 11:00pm

A Portrait of a Slowly Disintegrating Stage Production

Between the whiskey-swilling, the sardonic swinging of an ax, flying flowers, and the swapping of sardines, there is the organized mayhem that is the homage to the hilarity of theater production in Michael Frayn's comedic genius "Noises Off". The frantic stumbling-blumbles of this "play within a play" are a love-letter of sorts to anyone who has ever "found their light" in a theatrical performance, or toiled int he shadows backstage...and the unpredictable unraveling that can (and often will) ensue. This final offering of a much-acclaimed Mesa Encore Theatre season promises spasms of laughter that will leave the audience gasping for air and grasping their sides.
