Maston show in Tucson

Date:
Tuesday, March 12, 2013 - 9:00pm - 11:00pm

California multi-instrumentalist Maston released a new LP Shadows via Trouble in Mind and he'll be hitting the road to support the LP, playing TLMS in Tucson on March 12.

Impose asserts, "Frank Maston is out to have himself placed amongst Southern California's elite studio auteurs on 'Messages.' He's got the texture of Spector shaken among the western twang of Morricone."

Pitchfork has also weighed in saying, "he seamlessly moves from spooky organ jabs to sweet harpsichord melodies while singing an unsettling love song. He's constantly altering dozens of layers - changing volumes, textures and overall moods to craft an erratic, unpredictable composition with a sentimental pop song at its core."
