When 3-D first was brought into theatres it really was not that big of a thing in film until the mid 2000s when the format began to grow in popularity with many films being released into regular 2-D and 3-D.
In fact 3-D has now become so popular that films that were in theatres many years ago are now being re-released into theatres under the 3-D format. With many films that have been re-released into theatres and many more to come one in particular that catches my attention would have to be the 3-D release of "Jurassic Park," which is set to be re-released on April 5, 2013.
