Kabbalah: Book of Creation: Golem

Golem Links on the Internet

Throughout history, every culture has its own representation of the golem- an android, robot, computer, doplanger, Frankenstein, humunculus, living statue, tulpa, etc. These beings are capable of independent existence from its creator's control.

Instructions to bring this creature to life are suggested to be found within the mysterious words of the Sefer Yetzirah, The Book of Creation. But to connect the puzzling phrases of letters, vowels and details of the Universe to the creation of a golem is one of the elusive mysteries of the Universe.

There are many techniques and "authoritative" instructions on how to create a golem, or bring a golem to life. But, many lack the details needed to know how to construct the golem. Most of the techniques are described in books about Rabbi Lowe of Prague and his creation of a golem. But, these stories are just stores from the authors and may not have much substance. Read about the different methods used to create a Golem..

Golem Links

There are many websites with information on the golem, how to make a golem and the Book of Creation, or Book of Formation (Sefer Yetzirah in Hebrew). This page lists links I found useful in my studies. Also, see links and information on Sefer Yetzirah, The Book of Creation.

Phosphene: stimulation of the optic nerve or retina producing a flashing sensation in the eye. They are a result of rapidly changing magnetic fields and occur at threshold field changes of 25 T/s which, at the edge of the gradient field can just about be reached with the modern high slew rate gradient systems.
