Fox: Mary Chapin Carpenter & Brandy Clark

Mary Chapin Carpenter, recognized as one of music’s most reliable and empathetic songwriters, has sold over 16 million records and won five GRAMMY Awards. Her acclaimed hits include “Passionate Kisses” and “He Thinks He’ll Keep Her,” and she was recently awarded the Poet’s Award at the ACM Honors. Carpenter’s new podcast, “Hope is a Muscle,” has been a top music podcast, and her collaborative album Looking For The Thread, released in early 2025, received high praise. On her visit here to the Fox, she will perform a mix of songs from her entire catalog and upcoming album.
Brandy Clark, a GRAMMY, CMA, and Americana Award winner, is known for her exceptional songwriting. In 2024, she won Song of the Year at the Americana Honors & Awards with her song “Dear Insecurity,” featuring Brandi Carlile. Clark’s self-titled album has earned widespread acclaim, with Forbes calling it an “Americana Masterpiece.” She has written hits like “Follow Your Arrow” for Kacey Musgraves and co-created the musical Shucked, which earned nine Tony nominations.
