1996 ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS

April 24, 1996 marked the 31st annual Academy of Country Music
(ACM) awards broadcast live from Hollywood, California. Hosted
by Ronnie Dunn, Kix Brooks, and Faith Hill, the three hour award
show boasted performances by many of today's top country music
stars. The following awards were presented (the winner of each
award will be marked with an asterik):
