Las Vegas Vacation Photo Tour

Final page.

(left) Looking south down the Strip at sunset from the 30th floor of Treasure Island. The view is spectacular. The cost difference between a room overlooking the strip as opposed to a room overlooking the desert (or a wall) is worth it. That is, unless you plan to spend most of your time in the casino.

The difference between the older hotels and the newer ones are stark. The price differences are also dramatic. One can get a room at Imperial Palace under $60 a night, but the difference is noted when an extra $50-100 more is added to stay across the street.

(Above left) Looking towards the Mirage and its volcano. Several times each night, the vulcano erupts with spitting fire.

(Above) While the volcano erupts, the ghost ships at Treasure Island come alive. A short performance is held several times throughout the day and night. Special standing accomadotions are made for hotel guests for an excellent dockside view.

Walking through the Venetian Mall transports the visitor to another dimension of shopping and marketing.
