GET OUT
Phoenix - April 3, 2003
"Phoenix rockers Innuendo have made their fourth effort an
acoustic affair
that highlights the band's excellent musicianship and vocal talents.
Guitarist Brett Richey wrote the tunes and produced and mixed
the disc in
his home studio. Innuendo's music - especially singer Andy Watt's
singing
soaring through the choruses - recalls the power-ballad days of
the late
80's and early 90's, but there are enough contemporary touches
to keep it
from being a complete nostalgia trip. B"
STRUTTER
The Netherlands - August 2002
"...an excellent lead singer and a handful of "sweet"
melodic pop/rock
tunes... you can be sure to hear quality music from start to finish...
This
CD is highly recommended."
HEAVY HARMONIES http://www.heavyharmonies.com
Illinois - June 2002
"Like the last album, at seventeen tracks you're definitely
getting your
money's worth. No skimping on the musical content here... This
album has
that "repeat playability" factor going... I've listened
to this one a
couple of times and it's not getting stale. Great job guys...
Quite good.
Wholeheartedly recommended!"

Sweden - March 2002
"Each song is performed with class, energy and a lot of melody,
confirming
Innuendo's higher talent as songwriters and performers... songs
to love at
first listen."

Northen Ireland - May 2002
"From the first moment I put this album on it felt comfortable
- a bit like
an old favorite sweater... This collection isn't the most obvious
follow up
to their previous album and Innuendo are clearly a band that intend
to
follow their hearts when it comes to deciding what to do next.
If you're an
existing fan, then this is yet another one for your collection...
Innuendo
haven't lost their touch."
HEART OF THE ROCK http://www.heartoftherock.com
New Zealand - April 2002

well written,
melodic album. The playing is first rate... prolific songwriter
Brett
Richey has produced a number of memorable and well crafted songs

with lovely

stone... a pure
masterpiece of mellow, catchy rock"
ROCK IT! http://www.rock-it-magazine.de
Germany - February 2002
"The trio produces wonderfully light pop rock which it does
suprisingly
completely without the current cliches... "Raining In Mexico"
is a
compilation of beautifully quiet tracks... great love for detail
where
arrangements and transmission of songs are concerned. In short,
class,
great class!

ON THE ROCKS http://www.ontherocks.com
Germany - Februray 2002
"Raining In Mexico" is Innuendo's fourth album and their
best to date. The
three guys from Phoenix play soft but highly melodic rock music
which is
mainly based on acoustic instrumentation which gives "Raining
In Mexico" an
'unplugged' touch... big songwriting talent. Songs like "Little
Less Grey",
"The Call", or "Ain't Like It Used to Be"
feature some very beautiful
melodies and are shining examples of what good songs need."
AOR CENTRAL http://www.geocities.com/aorcentral
Los Angeles - February 2002
"In a day where puppet like pop stars with multi-million
dollar record
deals rule the airwaves with music devoid of passion or creativity,
one
band is deciding to go against the trends and write music from
the heart.
That band is Arizona based Innuendo... these blokes are doing
something
interesting and after listening to the CD you won't be telling
yourselves,
"I've heard this many times before... definite hit potential!!!...
Overall,
I think "Raining In Mexico" is Innuendo's best album...
Those of you who
have the bands previous material should get this new album, and
those of
you who have never heard the album should check them out, as I
think they
are certainly one of the most original bands at the moment and
they also
don't have a shortage of melodic tunes."
