"Ed Schieffelin's Territorial Days Celebration"
at Tombstone Courthouse State Historic Park
(Phoenix Arizona - March 14, 2008) -
Tombstone Courthouse State Historic Park presents "Ed Schieffelin's
Territorial Days Celebration" on March 29th and 30th in partnership with
the Tombstone Chamber of Commerce.
In honor of the town of Tombstone's founder, and with paid
admission to Tombstone Courthouse State Historic Park, there will be
excursion trips at 9 a.m., 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. to Ed Schieffelin's
Monument, his final resting place. Visitors may also tour the
Courthouse, see exciting artifacts and learn about Tombstone's
historical past, including information about Wyatt Earp and the Gunfight
at the O.K. Corral.
Jane Eppinga, history writer and noted author, will be
conducting a book signing on Sunday, March 30 in the park gift shop.
Marilyn Butler great grand-daughter of Ed Schieffelin and author of
"Destination Tombstone," will conduct a book signing on Saturday, March
29th and Sunday, March 30th in the park gift shop. The book signings
will take place after 10 a.m and after 2 p.m. both days. Schedules are
subject to change without notice.

Historic Park is $4 per person for ages 14 and up; children aged 13 and
under are free when accompanied by an adult. Arizona State Park Annual
Pass is available for $50 (some restrictions apply).

corner of Toughnut and 3rd Streets, 2 blocks off Highway 80, in
Tombstone, Arizona.
