Pop singer Britney Spears has filed for divorce from aspiring rapper and husband Kevin "K-Fed" Federline, according to several news reports.
The filing, in the Los Angelese County Superior Court, cites "irreconcilable difference."
In 2004, Spears, 24, married Federline, 28. They have a one-year old son, Sean Preston, and a son born Sept. 12, identified in court papers as Jayden James Federline. Spears asks for custody of the two children with visiting rights for Federline, according to court papers.
Spears married Federline only eight months after she ended her 55-hour marriage to childhood friend, Jason Alexander in Las Vegas.
