There are hundreds of great movies out there and what we mainly watch them for could be for the actors/actresses or maybe even the directors, but we may also watch them for some of the intense fights that are bound to happen sometime in the films. Though there are many great fights that we all enjoy to watch I narrowed it down to a few that we all most certainly love to watch.

Rocky Balboa vs. Ivan Drago "Rocky IV"
Rocky has always had great and tough fights throughout all the films, but his most epic fight was when he had to go one on one with a large Soviet boxer, named Ivan Drago, that had killed Rocky's best friend, Apollo, in a match. This fight had to be Rocky's most challenging fight ever in all his boxing career for the reason he had to take on a man who was twice his size and strength and always showed resistance. For the beginning of the fight it seems to us that Rocky does not stand a chance and will quickly be beaten to a pulp. That all quickly changes when he manages to throw some pain causing blows showing his opponent and all his people that he has plenty of fight in him and he too can cause some damage. It turns out to be a history in the making fight and one that Rocky or anyone else will ever forget.Spider-Man vs. Doc Ock "Spider-Man 2"
In the world of Comic book films we always will see the superhero of the film fight the villain several times throughout the film with some being great and others not worth our time. Though the most epic fights between the hero and the villain should be the final fight they have, but for one of the most epic fights in all Comic book films comes scenes earlier before their final showdown. The battle between Spider-Man and Doc Ock on the train has got to be the most intense fight between hero and villain in all Comic book films. The reason why I say this for the fact that they both begin their fight on a building and then fall down on top of the train to continue their battle and they not only fight on the top, but on the sides and in the train. Doc Ock takes a few passengers and throws them off to try and catch Spider-Man off guard adding more suspense to the fight. Now you can see why this is indeed the greatest fight between Superhero and Villain of all Comic book films.King Kong vs. Tyrannosaurus Rex "King Kong (2005)"
Fights in movies almost always contain of two humans fighting each other or even aliens fight humans. In Peter Jackson's remake of the 1933 classic King Kong the most intense fight throughout the film has got to be when Kong came to the rescue of Ann Darrow to face not one and not two, but three T. Rex. This ultimate battle of ape vs. lizard turned out to be a true battle of two great creatures with one wanting to kill while the other wanting to protect. During every minute of the fight Kong has some pretty close calls of himself and the woman he is to protect as the three T. Rex stop at nothing to have their meal. The fight even moves around quickly and soon they are all hanging from vines off the side of a cliff and then soon enough they end back up on the ground again to finish their ordeal. This fight also proves that creatures can make great fights just as well as humans can and even better.T-800 vs. T-1000 "Terminator 2: Judgment Day"
In all fights between two living organisms they both will eventually wear down and lose all their energy giving one the opportunity to take the final blow and end the epic fight. In "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" the fight is of two terminators sent from the future with the T-1000 sent to kill John Connor and theT-800 sent to protect him. All throughout the film the T-800 and the T-1000 battle it out to try and change the future, but their final battle says it all when T-800 and the others have destroyed the Cyberdyne System and the T-1000 has tracked them down to complete his mission. The two terminators then battle it out on last time with neither one showing any mercy and knowing that if they can destroy the other they can change the future forever. This battle even shows us that the hero and villain do not always have to be living organisms to make a difference.Harry Potter vs. Lord Voldemort "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows-Part II"
The Harry Potter films are by far the most popular films in all movies and have captured the attention of the public for ten years with all the magic and suspense the films had to offer. During all the films Harry must always watch his back for the Dark Lord himself, Voldemort and be ready whenever the time comes. These two wizards battle in three films of the series and of all their battles their final battle in "The Deathly Hallows Part II" was indeed the most epic battle in the entire series for it was the fight to the death and to see who was really the true most powerful wizard. Though the battle contains of more action than what the novel provided, I would have to say that it was great for them to add more to the battle of The Boy Who Lived and The Dark Lord. This was their final battle and so it had to be one that the audience would remember for all times and I will say that I surely believe it will be.Anakin Skywalker vs. Obi Wan Kenobi "Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith"
The Star Wars saga has always given the audience great fights in all the movies whether they are in space or on the ground or anywhere in the Star Wars world, but we all probably agree that the greatest fight that Star Wars let us witness was the lightsaber duel between Anakin and Obi Wan on Mustafar in "Revenge of the Sith." Though both these former friends fought in "A New Hope" when Anakin had officially become Darth Vader, it does not match up to their epic battle when Anakin had first turned to the dark side of the force and Obi Wan was forced to kill him for Yoda saw that the boy he knew was now gone and the Sith he had become was here to stay. The duel gives many breath taking scenes to where we almost think the fight is going to end, but it continues on showing us that neither one of these men are willing to give up this fight to the other. That is why I would say this is by far the most ecstatic fight we the people have ever seen on the big screen and will probably remain for years to come. After seeing all these fights in these great films you can see why they are some of our most favorite to watch and will be for years to come and maybe there will continue to be directors, writers and actors/actresses that will bring us more great films with fights that will leave us on the edge of our seats always asking ourselves what will happen next and how intense everything is going to be. Until that time we all can continue to enjoy fights like these and hope that others will follow by them in the film industry.Read more reviews by Kyler Kuehler.
