JLO by Jennifer Lopez and Quepasa Team Up to Reach Hispanic Shoppers Online
Quepasa Corporation (BULLETIN BOARD: QPSA) , a leading provider of online products and services to U.S. Hispanics, announced Wednesday a marketing agreement with the JLO by Jennifer Lopez brand holding Company, Sweetface Fashion."In a similar way to how Quepasa pioneered the Hispanic Internet on a national level in the United States during the late 90's, Jennifer Lopez started the trend of celebrity fashion brands in 2001," said Jeffrey Peterson, Quepasa Chairman and Founder. "This is a perfect example of how the strong Quepasa brand can be leveraged in an online product launch to a new audience."
Peterson noted that U.S. Hispanic Internet users, on a per session basis, spend more time evaluating items and are more likely to make a purchase. "To optimize effectiveness online, we look for the most sophisticated and timely product offerings," he added. "With our audience, the entire JLO clothing line is a perfect fit."
