Marana- one of the fastest growing Arizona communities

							  Winter and spring
are without a doubt the best months to enjoy Marana's picturesque corner
of the Sonoran Desert. The mild daytime temperatures beckon adventurers
to explore the great outdoors, and when the thermometer starts to drop
in the evening, it's just chilly enough to enjoy a cup of hot cocoa
during an evening stroll under the stars.
							  Fortunately for
all of us, there are plenty of ways to take advantage of winter in the
desert. The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Dove Mountain will help you discover
serenity with their therapeutic massages that draw on the practices of
the ancient Hohokam who once settled these mountains. Refreshed and
renewed, hit the links at the Golf Club at Dove Mountain, the Highlands,
or the Quarry Pines. Each of these courses offers its own unique
features that will challenge golfers of all ability levels.

						  For an
unforgettable trek into the desert, sign up for one of Marana's guided
hikes. These journeys in the Tortolita Mountains will treat hikers not
only to the wondrous natural beauty of these peaks, but also to the
wealth of knowledge which our hike leaders are excited to share. In
February, the hike will introduce attendees to the historic Alamo
Spring, an important site in the ranching history of this region.
							There's so much to
love about Marana at this time of year. In just a few short weeks, we'll
start to see wildflowers blanketing our mountainsides, the product of
the drenching winter rains that themselves are an attraction in our arid
environment. Smelling the creosote wafting across the desert after a
rain is an experience you won't want to miss. So get out and discover
all that winter has to offer when you Discover Marana.
