The Band Perry at The Maverick

It's The Band Perry (Hip To My Heart, If I Die Young) at The Maverick on Tuesday, December 7th - the KiiM-FM Penny Pitch concert. All money goes straight to Arizona's Children Association. Tickets are $10 and available at the KiiM-FM Studios on Roger Road during their business hours (M-F 8a-5p, no holidays).

Although the concert is sold out, Tucsonans can still donate their pennies at The Maverick to benefit for Arizona's Children Association. The goal is One Million Pennies (or dollars, as they are easier to count).

At the concert, three collectible guitars will be auctioned for the fund raiser. The guitars are autographed by Carrie Underwood and Craig Morgan; and by Clay Walker, Blaine Larsen and Troy Olsen. The third guitar was autographed by Rodney Atkins, Steve Holy and Sunny Sweeney. Proceeds will be donated to the Penny Pitch campaign.

After the show, fans have the chance to meet and greet The Band Perry. This week, Billboard's County Music lists The Band Perry's hit, "If I Die Young," number one.

"The Maverick continues to host the greatest musicians in Country music", said Karen Markovitch, The Maverick's operating partner, "Since 1963, we've had some of Nashville's finest in an unique intimate concert setting including Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson." The Maverick now hosts live music five nights a week from Tuesday through Saturday.
