Treasure hunter and author Ron Quinn's book, "Mysterious Disappearances and Other Strange Tales" is a combination of two books which Ron has compiled over the decades. People have always been mysteriously disappearing without explanation. Unexplained occurrences and spontaneous disappearances continue to haunt the imagination. Many have experienced some type of strange encounter with a startling experience– UFO’s, ghostly apparitions, aliens and strange paranormal activities. "My mysterious adventure into the unknown began in August 1942. When I was only ten years old, I saw a little man, perhaps a foot tall, standing on a window ledge. It wasn’t just an adolescent hallucination," says Ron Quinn who is now in his 80s. "I continued to be fascinated by unexplained mysteries and other’s who had stories of little people. An article about my encounter appeared in an upstate New York weekly paper in 1989. Over the weeks, dozens of letters arrived from people describing their own encounters or similar tales from family members and friends."
