Newport Beach's beach'sThe beach is open for the public from the hours of 6am to 10pm. There is excellent fishing from both piers as well as restaurants located on the ends of both piers. The piers are normally open from 6am to midnight.
Many of the city’s restaurants are located along the waterfront, but even several of those set back from the coast offer panoramic views of the area’s picturesque landscape with more than 350 restaurants to choose. Balboa Island is an artificial island in Newport Harbor dredged and filled right before World War I.
