Thousands of people of all ages crowded the downtown street, making way for the revving motors as cyclists cruised through the crowd. In Mexico, open beer containers and bare breasts were common. Rock 'n roll music blared from bar's loud speakers to lure in customers for a $2.50 Tecate, Dos XX or Modelo and bowl of chips and salsa.

 Shakedown Hiway
The road between the hotels at Sandy Beach and the town of Puerto Peñasco is a dangerous stretch.
Not only do drunken party-goers lose control, so do the policia (police) who have been known to shakedown unsuspecting vacationers at this tourist trap spot. Watch your speed, hide your cash, and try to get the nombre and numeral (name and number) of the not-so friendly officers with the AK-47s.
