As Arizona’s biggest and most exciting New Year’s Eve bash, the Insight Fiesta Bowl Block Party is a jam-packed evening of fun and entertainment for the entire family. More than 100,000 party-goers annually celebrate in Tempe’s Beach Park and Mill Avenue District amidst spectacular fireworks displays and Arizona’s official midnight countdown drop. With more than 40 local bands and entertainers, a national headlining music act, beer gardens, dueling pianos, freestyle motor cross jumpers and more, this is one fantastic celebration you won’t want to miss!
 
FIREWORKS
This year's Block Party will pack its usual punch with two fireworks shows at 10:00 p.m. and midnight. Also at midnight, a sunburst drop will countdown the New Year at the Insight Main Stage, presented by FOX 10 and The Edge 103.9.
 
BANDS
More than 40 local bands are scheduled to play on 11 different stages throughout the event from 4:00 p.m. to midnight.  On the Insight Main Stage, presented by FOX 10 and The Edge 103.9, music lovers can enjoy  the nationally acclaimed Barenaked Ladies.  Also performing at the event are Arizona favorites Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers on the Americana Cantina Stage and The Love Me Nots on The Ampitheater Stage.
 
FAMILY FUN AT "THE PLAYGROUND"
Located at Tempe Beach Park in the The Playground, children ages 2 to 12 can enjoy activities with their families from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Activities include: hat and mask decorating, stick horse riding, hula hoops, construction sandbox, and a sports field with footballs, horseshoes, ring toss, soccer balls, bean bag toss and bowling. There will also be more than 20 carnival rides on hand.
 
EXTREME FREE STYLE MOTOR CROSS
Spectacular, death-defying motorcycles will fly through the night sky performing jaw-dropping tricks and jumps.  The shows will start at 6:00 p.m. and are located at the on Sixth St. west of Mill Ave.
 
SRP AMERICANA CANTINA STAGE
If the Arizona winter months have left you longing for a bit of Rocky Point, Mexico, then you will want to check out the SRP Americana Cantina located west of Mill Ave. on Fifth St. From 10:00 p.m. to 12:15 a.m. the stage will feature Valley legend Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers.  On the way you can pick-up a Johnsonville Brat at the "World's Largest Smoker."
 
CLUB KISS LIVE
Dance away 2007 at Club KISS Live, an all-ages, outdoor, dance club spinning today's hottest hits.  This year’s club will be located behind Z’Tejas. 
 
BLOCK PARTY PARADE
Everybody loves a parade!  Starting at Seventh St. and Mill Ave., marching bands from the universities participating in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl will lead the parade through the Block Party down to Tempe Beach Park and finish with a performance in front of the Insight Main Stage.
 
AIR GUITAR
Don't leave Fifth St. until you jump on the Air Guitar Stage and show us why you are an Air Guitar God.  You could win the title of “His or Her Block Party Airness.”
 
LEGENDS OF ROCK LANE
Come relieve the history of Rock & Roll’s greatest at the Legends of Rock Lane & Lounge presented by Radio Free Phoenix.  This legendary jog down memory lane features a mini-museum on the street and your favorite cover bands on the stage.  Just head east on Sixth St. from Mill Avenue. Rock & Roll never dies.
 
TOSTITOS DUELING PIANOS STAGE
The key boards are hot at the Tostitos Dueling Piano Stage and Beer Garden as talented pianists from The Big Bang play the songs that you request.  Located on Seventh St., this stage will keep you singing and dancing all night long. 
 
BEER GARDENS
Adults 21 and over can hang out and enjoy alcoholic beverages at six different beer gardens located throughout the Block Party. 
 
FOOD COURTS
With so much to see and do, event goers will be sure to build up an appetite. The Insight Fiesta Bowl Block Party will have a variety of areas throughout the grounds to grab a quick bite to eat from food vendors and in food courts.
 
FOX 10 is the official television station of the Insight Fiesta Bowl Block Party and will telecast live from the event from 10:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
