Help!Boo at the Zoo 2023

Our Zoo’s been invaded!

There are Ghoulies
and Ghosties and Long legged
Beasties and things that howl in the night!

What are we to do?

Enjoy it, that’s what!
It’s time for Boo at the Zoo!

The animals are in hiding, the sky is darkening, the throngs are at the gates bringing fresh blood!

This is the night that the animals watch the people.

Lots of brilliant colors everywhere! Still very hot at dark. Slowly at first, but the long line seemed to fill the park.

A good sized crowd as the night went on.
Many families. The kids were watching everything at once and enjoying themselves!

At least early on, the parents seemed to face this as something to do for their children.
Almost more of a chore. When the heat went down lower, the smiles came out!

We haven’t there been since pre-covid but this event had less interaction.
There was some live action performers but not as many as in the past. We may have missed some with the crowds heavy in some areas of the park. It just doesn’t seem to have to energy of past years.

Although the people we saw leaving seemed happy and content!
All in all it is a very good and fun experience!
