"Late Night" TV crown passed on to Jimmy Fallon

Conan O'Brien has left the "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" show on NBC to take over "The Tonight Show" from Jay Leno in May 2009.

All new episodes of "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon," starring Jimmy Fallon from Saturday Night Live (SNL) fame, begain to air weeknights at 12:35/11:35c on NBC beginning on March 2, 2009. Jimmy Fallon first appeared in the feature film The Scheme (originally entitled The Entrepreneurs).

In 1998, Fallon appeared briefly on the show Spin City in the second season as a man selling photographs.
