American Guest House announces volunteer program

American Guest House, a Washington DC Bed and Breakfast, has announced their internship program for those interested in hands-on training to become an innkeeper. This opportunity is ideal for candidates ultimately wanting to own a bed and breakfast or work in the hotel industry.
 
This program requires a minimum of 10 hours per week with a 4 month commitment. Within this time frame, owners Lucia and Claudio Rosan, residential innkeepers, and the breakfast Chef will teach the skills necessary to perform all household duties required in this field.
 
Training provided includes: processing check-ins/check-outs, mastering skills in ReservationKey, social media development, daily desk work, breakfast serving and table preparation, and how to multi task the needs of guest with the front-house.
