Steve Starr passes away at 65

On Monday, November 12, 2012, Steve Starr passed away after feeling ill following lunch with his friends at the Drake Hotel, according to the Chicago Sun Times. He said he wasn't feeling well and passed out on the sidewalk. Starr was pronounced dead at 4:29 p.m. at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. He was 65.

Starr was planning a photo exhibit to celebrate his 45 years in business on December 12th called "The Face of News," composed of photos of people in front of and behind the camera. The show will be held as a tribute to Steve's life.
