The Plasma 8000 model has 600Hz subfield motion, the fastest refresh rate available. 3D Plasma Plus technology provides the maximum 3D effect of any Samsung model. The TV are only 1.4" deep. The Plasma 8000 series comes in a maximum screen size of 63" at a manufacturer suggested retail price (MSRP) of $3,800. Smaller screen sizes include 58" ($3,000 MSRP) and 50 inches ($2,000 MSRP). The Samsung Series 7The Plasma HDTV 7000 is the next level down on the new Samsung 3D set. These TVs come in 3 sizes: 50" ($2000 MSRP), 58" ($2700 MSRP) and 63" ($3,500 MSRP). The main $300 difference bwteen the Series 7 and 8 is that he 8000 model has RealBlackFilter technology.
