At least two 3D movies a month in 2012
This year, nearly a dozen new 3D films will be presented in 2012 at most theaters across the country. Within weeks, the 3D hits expect to be on DVD to play at home in 3D.
3-D at home with your own 3D entertainment system
3D movie technology is over 100 years old. Yet, it still relies on glasses with special lenses to simulate a three dimensional viewing experience. There are a number of new products entering the market in the spring and summer of 2010. See more about 3-D glasses.
New 3-D capable Blu-ray players and 3-D HDTV's are being developed by major electronics manufacturers like Sony, Samsung, Mitsubishi and Toshiba. This spring and summer the market will be flooded with this new wave of technology.

How to Train Your Dragon 3D in 2013
DreamWorks Animation SKG, Inc. (Nasdaq: DWA) will bring the epic action-adventure of Hiccup and his courageous Viking tribe as well as Toothless and the other beloved dragon characters on the Island of Berk back to the big screen in 3D with the sequel to How to Train Your Dragon in 2013.
The second chapter to the critically acclaimed 2010 blockbuster, How to Train Your Dragon – which has grossed nearly $500 million at the worldwide box office – will again feature the all-star voice talents of Jay Baruchel, Craig Ferguson, America Ferrera, Jonah Hill, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, TJ Miller and Kristen Wiig.
