"CMA COUNTRY CHRISTMAS" Hosted by Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland
Country's biggest stars as well as cross-genre musical innovators come together to celebrate the holidays on "CMA Country Christmas," which taped in front of a live audience November 10th at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn.
The special, which is hosted for the second time by Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland, airs Thursday, Dec. 1 (9:00-11:00 PM/ET) on the ABC Television Network.
Artists scheduled to perform and celebrate the season with songs and stories include "American Idol" runner up Lauren Alaina, Amy Grant, Faith Hill, Little Big Town, Martina McBride, "American Idol" winner Scotty McCreery, Brad Paisley, Kellie Pickler, Rascal Flatts, Darius Rucker, Brian Setzer, Sugarland, Keith Urban, and Vince Gill in a special performance with Miss Piggy.

The 45th Annual 2011 CMA Awards Show
"The 45th Annual CMA Awards" will air live on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 (8:00-11:00 PM/ET) from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on the ABC Television Network.
Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood return as hosts for their fourth consecutive year.
Previously announced performers include Aldean, The Band Perry, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Sara Evans, Faith Hill, Lady Antebellum, Lambert, Martina McBride, Scotty McCreery, Shelton, Sugarland, Swift, Thompson Square, Keith Urban, Young and Zac Brown Band, plus Kenny Chesney and Grace Potter singing their hit collaboration "You and Tequila," Rascal Flatts and Natasha Bedingfield singing their current hit duet "Easy," Lionel Richie performing with Little Big Town, Rascal Flatts, and Darius Rucker, and co-hosts Paisley and Underwood in their first live televised-performance of their No. 1 song "Remind Me."

The 2010 CMA Country Christmas TV show is hosted by Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles, this 90-minute special will feature performances of holiday classics as well as fireside chats with the artists and their families. Artists appearing include Sheryl Crow, Little Big Town, Martina McBride, Brad Paisley, Kellie Pickler, Rascal Flatts, Reba, LeAnn Rimes, Darius Rucker, and Sugarland.
Winners announced for the 45th Annual Country Music Awards 2010
The star-studded ceremony was broadcast live on Sunday night, April 18, 2010 on the CBS Television Network from MGM GRAND in Las Vegas. Almost a half a million country music fans voted for the Entertainer of the Year category and named Carrie Underwoodthe winner of the evening's biggest honor. The ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC, an artist and industry-driven organization, exists to produce a world-class network television awards show, and its associated events, to provide the financial resources to ensure the on-going philanthropic work of its Charitable Fund.
