Official State Visitor’s Guide
The Arizona Office of Tourism (AOT) has released its Arizona Official State Visitor’s Guide.
The publication is an
essential travel resource that informs, entertains and encourages
readers to discover why Arizona is a premier vacation destination. The
guide serves as the agency’s central consumer fulfillment tool.
Formatted in the style of a magazine, the articles are
written by Arizona-based writers who infuse their travel experiences
into the many articles written about tourist destinations located
throughout the Grand Canyon State.
These articles celebrate
Arizona’s wonderful tourism assets including scenic road trips, local
cuisine, outdoor adventures, Native American heritage and Wild West
history.
Also to be found in this
guide is information on Arizona’s celebrated history, invigorating arts
and culture, luxurious resorts, rejuvenating spas, championship golf
courses, fine dining options and a wide-selection of shopping
opportunities.
The accompanying maps includes valuable travel and
tourist information, including a detailed listing of campgrounds and
recreational areas, information on the state’s Native American lands, a
listing of Arizona’s designated Scenic Roads and travel tips for each of
the states five regions.
The guide is available to download at www.Arizonaguide.com.

"Searching for Arizona's Buried Treasures"
Two Year Odessey - Found 82 lbs. of Gold in Southern Arizona, by Ron Quinn. "Searching
for hidden treasures few have ever heard of, we discovered places that
have never been visited by others to this day. We never lived the same
day twice. Each day was a new, exciting
adventure finding strange Indian caves, ancient stone walls and lost
Spanish settlements. These two wonderful years would become the most
adventurous times of our lives." Many years later the four of us finally
unearthed a medium-size treasure south of Tucson, ArizonaRead chapters from Searching for Arizona's Buried Treasures.
"Treasures of the Santa Catalina Mountains
Hundreds
of pages about the legends of lost mines, lost cities and a lost
mission in the Santa Catalina Mountains, north of Tucson, have been
passed down by word of mouth for generations. The
most famous legend, the Iron Door Mine, helped launch the early
American hunt for gold in the 1860s. Read sample chapters from "Treasures of the Santa Catalina Mountains."
