Apple's New iPhone 3GS revolutionizes the cellphone
Apple introduced iPhone on January 9, 2007, combining three products- a revolutionary mobile phone, a widescreen iPod (R) with touch controls, and a breakthrough Internet communications device with desktop-class email, web browsing, searching and maps-into one small and lightweight handheld device.
Now, the new iPhone 3GS takes it up a notch.
iPhone introduces an entirely new user interface based on a large multi-touch display and pioneering new software, letting users control iPhone with just their fingers.
iPhone also ushers in an era of software power and sophistication never before seen in a mobile device, which completely redefines what users can do on their mobile phones.

"We are all born with the ultimate pointing device -- our fingers -- and iPhone uses them to create the most revolutionary user interface since the mouse." Continue reading...

Unlocking programs may disable iPhone upgrades
Apple has discovered that many of the unauthorized iPhone unlocking programs available on the Internet cause irreparable damage to the iPhone's software.
This will likely result in the modified iPhone becoming permanently inoperable when a future Apple-supplied iPhone software update is installed.
Apple plans to release the next iPhone software update, containing many new features including the iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store, later this week.
Apple strongly discourages users from installing unauthorized unlocking programs on their iPhones.
Users who make unauthorized modifications to the software on their iPhone violate their iPhone software license agreement and void their warranty.
The permanent inability to use an iPhone due to installing unlocking software is not covered under the iPhone's warranty.
