Tucson, Arizona, March 10, 2008. Balance and harmony, understanding and partnership between rider and horse--these are the goals that U.K.-based clinician Patrice Edwards brings to every lesson she teaches. In clinics all over the United States and Canada as well as her own United Kingdom, Patrice brings her distinctive wit and humor to riders and horses of all levels and disciplines.

Dressage and eventing are her specialties, but she has delighted in teaching Western riders, endurance riders, riders of gaited horses, and many others. All are welcome to ride, and auditors are welcome--though they should be prepared: they may just find themselves on a horse, experiencing Patrice's magic touch for themselves.

Patrice is one of a very small number of modern clinicians who both can and will make profound changes in the way a rider rides and a horse performs. Her lessons transform the rider's seat, the horse's balance and way of going, and the partnership between the rider and the horse. "I'm addicted to the dance," she says, and she shares that passion with her students both human and equine.

An early and current life member of Britain's TTT--Training the Teachers of Tomorrow Trust--Patrice has studied in depth with such masters as Charles De Kunffy, Artur Kottas, Klaus Balkenhol, and Captain Mark Phillips. She has herself trained horses from the beginning to Grand Prix dressage, and has trained many others from various levels to Grand Prix. She has competed to the highest levels of both Eventing and Dressage. After an accident which ended her competitive career, she devoted herself to teaching and training, sharing her broad and deep knowledge with an ever-widening circle of riders and horses.

Tucson trainer Joni Bockisch invites the public to join her for a classical riding clinic with Patrice Edwards, from April 29th to May 2nd, 2008, at 4925 North Old West Road, Tucson, Arizona 85743. In addition to the 45-minute ridden sessions, immediately after lunch on April 30th and May 1st, Patrice will treat riders and auditors to an interactive lecture and question session.
